GDP certified

GDP team of GROUP7 (f.l.t.r.): Jasmin Jahres, Radoslaw Kowalczyk, Fabian Lechner, Michael Wehner, Thomas Wiederspahn

GROUP7 has recently been GDP certified. The German audit company DEKRA certified the "Good Distribution Practice" (GDP) for the logistics and forwarding services as well as e-commerce sector. With the certificate, GROUP7 can now transport sensitive pharmaceutical products worldwide, even according to the strictest requirements.

However, GROUP7 is not a newcomer to the pharmaceutical sector. Even before the GDP certification, we were active in all parts of the supply chain from pre-carriage through air and ocean freight to on-carriage and distribution for customers throughout the medical sector. The requests from GROUP7 customers and global partners have prompted us to take this new step. Quality agreements with subcontractors, risk assessment, procedural instructions, cleaning concepts, emergency plans: the certificate called for high demands. During the audit phase, additional flexibility was required due to the Corona virus: online interviews and online inspections were a part of the process.
